One Heart Left

A ticked off man, angry at a group of kids playing with firecrackers, shoots off his sawed-off shot gun. One of the out of control bullets slams into a little boy's body.
The boy lives but is destined to sit in a wheel chair until he dies.
The man spends two years in jail and WALKS out a free man.

What kind of justice is this?

Philly Confidential was about to lose it as she read this fact in Monday's Daily News, but then she finished the story.

The little boy grew up into a forgiving lovable man. He seems to have a heart of gold despite being forced to sit in a chair all day long.

Imagine being shot as a child. Imagine having your dreams snatched away because of some ignorant thug's thoughtless decision. Even typing this post is really infuriating to PC. She hates cowardly punks who think pressing on a trigger makes them tough.

Really.
She can't friggin' stand them.
Can't anyone work out a way to send 'em all to Iraq?
Maybe Fallujah or something. Since they like to shoot so much, let them shoot on behalf of this country so they can stop wasting our tax dollars on jail and free trips to the ER.
How much did your real estate taxes increase this year?
PC has to shell out an extra $200, and we didn't see fresh libraries going up anywhere.

Anyway, read Wendy Ruderman's story on Jaleel King's survival, it will make you stop and think about the innocence Philadelphia has lost over this past generation. Ruderman joined the Daily News (from the StInky) about two months ago and is already a powerhouse here.

If only thugs could read her piece ( thugs don't like English class), then maybe they would grow a heart.

Dear Simone unfortuntely, that young man did not go to jail at all. instead he was given a commonidation from the city of brotherly love and it's justice system,to continue on the path of destroying the life of a productive black people. The Phila Police dept gave him a get out of jail card. let not forget the judge who had given him a thank you note. This showed during sentencing; how he valued my childs life. This is just my feelings and because it was a black on black crime.

More or less nothing seems important. I've just been letting everything happen without me recently. I can't be bothered with anything recently, but such is life. My life's been generally bland today. Not much on my mind these days, but eh.

I can't be bothered with anything recently. I've just been sitting around doing nothing. Today was a loss. I just don't have much to say. Nothing seems worth thinking about.
