How about The Rock, Alcatraz maximum-security prison.

This half of Philly Confidential spent three hours at California's take on a defunct spooky prison. The ferry ride to the rocky island off of San Francisco's coast takes about twenty minutes and wandering around the empty jail cells could be a full day for some. For PC time on the rocky terrain became mundane so we took the first ferry available back to the mainland. Freedom rocks!
