Immigration with a Side of Anger

Boy, oh boy.
Writing about immigration sure angers the masses.
Readers, many presumably white, from across this great nation have been sending Philly Confidential loads of emails. Last week this half of PC wrote about the Philadelphia police commissioner's views
on arresting illegal immigrants.

In a nutshell, he said his department wouldn't do it.

The top cop said he is following suit with other big city police chiefs who all feel that their mission is to fight crime not to seek out green cards.
Fair enough, right?

Wrong, according to one Indiana woman who wrote:

"Law enforcement has to start somewhere
and it should start with those that are breaking the law that does not
belong here. We should not be in the business of rewarding criminal
illegal aliens."

The Philly commissioner said the federal government barley aids his officers in quelling rising homicide and shooting rates. He said there would be no way in heck that his department could afford to chase after the undocumented.

Makes sense, don't you think?

No, according to one California man who wrote:

"Perhaps when these politically correct police chiefs are required to identify the body of one of their beloved family members, murdered in cold blood by an illegal alien who wouldn't even be here if they were doing their jobs, they'll finally decide to do the jobs they swore an oath to do!!"

Whoa! PC is going to stay out of this one.
