YOUR NAME HERE

Looking for a gift to impress a loved one? Want to slap your corporation's name all over something classy that's not a stadium or a concert hall?

"Masterpiece Theatre" wants to put your name in lights.

With ExxonMobil's 35-year sponsorship of the PBS signature series due to expire in April, PBS president Pat Mitchell's still waiting for someone -- or more likely, some corporate entity -- to step up.

"I gotta tell you, I find this one completely confusing and perplexing," Mitchell says. "This is one of the biggest brands in television. It's been on the air longer than any other show on any media enterprise...who wouldn't want to be associated with this?"

The good news: PBS has guaranteed "Masterpiece Theatre" for the next two years, "and I just can't imagine that in those two years we won't find somebody who'll recognize this opportunity."

The bad: You're not going to be able to buy "Masterpiece Theatre" for cheap -- Mitchell estimates ExxonMobil's spent more than $300 million over 35 years.

For that, though, you'd probably get to adopt a fake English accent. Just like Madonna.
