YOUR NAME HERE 2

So exactly what would it cost to change "ExxonMobil Masterpiece Theatre" to "[Your Name Here] Masterpiece Theatre"?

About $6-$8 million a year, according to the PBS show's executive producer, Rebecca Eaton, who, used to the economies of public television, described it as a "huge amount of money" (and one she's hoping someone will step in to provide, now that Exxon's pulling up stakes after 35 years).

"Probably the days of one funder are long gone," she said.

Possibly. But if there's anyone out there with millions burning a hole in his or her pocket, it's worth considering that a single episode of NBC's "Friends" costs $6 million in salaries alone.

Anyone ready for "Jennifer Aniston Masterpiece Theatre"?
