"Smallville's" Tom Welling apparently doesn't watch HBO's "Entourage."
While filling a little down time on the always looser-than-loose WB press tour schedule, Welling mentioned that Aquaman would be appearing on "Smallville" this year, and didn't understand why a roomful of TV critics might be laughing about it.
But, you know, an awful lot of us watch "Entourage," whose fictional movie star, Vince Chase (Adrian Grenier), has just signed on to play Aquaman.
And maybe, just maybe, fewer of us are watching "Smallville."

I think the WB took serious exception to the drubbing they got at the Emmy nominations, specifically the disrespect of Gilmore Girls and its cast in the aftermath of its best season. The network is going to show the broadcast premiere of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers from 7 to 11PM...on Emmy night, September 18.
What a way to say 'up yours' to the Academy of TV Arts and Sciences. Does anyone, Ellen, think that this move is in direct retaliation, for lack of a better word, for being overlooked once again last week?
