Since even TV critics sometimes think of television as the movie industry's less-successful sibling, there's always a bit of skepticism when Big Stars work, even behind the scenes, on the small screen.

UPN president Dawn Ostroff's already assured us that Rock will be doing the show's narration for the forseeable future, but Rock's still on the hook for the questions about his level of involvement.

"My name's Rock, not Chappelle," he says, noting that there's more than one "skinny black guy."

"What have I ever walked out on?"
