Say what you like about Fox's "Skating with Celebrities" -- I'm afraid I found tomorrow night's premiere irresistible -- but no one can say that former Olympian Bruce Jenner didn't give it his all in his efforts to impress partner Tai Babilonia.

Jenner, who turned 56 in October, was just asked about his highly promoted skating injury, which involved 16 stitches above one eye (he was stitched up by "Extreme Makeover" plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher, whose number his wife just happened to have, he said).

"I don't remember what happened," he said. "I was just standing there and the ice came up and hit me."

Fellow celebrity skater Debbie Gibson then revealed that his nickname was "Bruise" Jenner.
