BYE, BYE ACE

I'm not so much pleased to see him go as I am to see Elliott Yamin stay, and apparently more handily than Simon had led anyone to expect.

But then, Chris Daughtry, too, now has reason to mistrust Simon's instincts, since deviating from his heretofore uncompromising plan for world rock domination landed him in (gasp) the bottom two.

And Kellie? Safe as houses.

Oh, and if I heard the playback correctly tonight, the word I thought was "magnifique" may merely have been "magic," a much bandied-about word on "Idol."

Judy:

Ahh.. the power of blonde, hair, blue eyes and a low IQ never ceases to amaze me...

Marie:

If Chris get axed before that embarrassment-to-all-women known as Kellie, life is more unfair than I ever thought!
