COUNTRY ROCKING THE HOUSE

Kenny's worried about Chris Daughtry.

But the house rocker's apparently decided to build a bridge between rock and country tonight with a Keith Urban song. Randy and Paula liked him, anyway.

Simon: "It was great to see a different side of you," before pronouncing it "boring."

It's bad when I'm agreeing with Paula, who's managed to notice that Simon is, shall we say, inconsistent when it comes to Chris.

Randy describes Katharine McPhee's "Bringing Out the Elvis" as "bluesy country," and Simon calls it "very peculiar," while admitting that he's not a country music fan.

Me, neither, apparently.
