SIMON SAYS SOMETHING FRENCH

Ryan brings up the "Saturday Night Live" parody with Taylor Hicks, and Taylor claims to have fallen on the floor, laughing. Or at least I assume it was laughter.

Rod, meanwhile, defends Taylor's right to dance. So take that, Simon.

"You Send Me," fortunately, doesn't require anything too scary, beyond a Taylor-made version of the Twist that seems to involve fisticuffs.

"This is a crazy night," declares Randy, who apparently means crazy in a good way.

Simon's in a ridiculously good mood, though he can't resist working "bad cabaret" into a compliment that ends in "Magnifique."

Which, it turns out, is not that island where Princess Margaret used to vacation near Mick Jagger.
