Missed "Idol's" results show tonight because I'm in New York and decided to walk back to my hotel after CBS' post-upfronts party at Central Park's Tavern on the Green.

I did catch the last 50 minutes of "The Amazing Race" finale, though -- the rest is waiting at home on the DVR -- and was thrilled to see B.J. and Tyler win.

And not just because B.J. -- who actually has a last name, Averell -- is from Collingswood, N.J., making him our guy.

Thought the two of them were a hoot and it's always good to see a team that actually appreciates the countries they're racing through.
