Because this is one "Idol" bootee we'll definitely be meeting again. And as much as I love Elliott Yamin, I know that he needs "American Idol" more than Paris does.

We probably could have skipped the rest of the show after the final five did their group-sing thing, as the order of solos pretty much followed the voting, or so I suspect:

Chris, Taylor, Katharine, Elliott, Paris.

Anyone want to argue with that?
