AT LONG LAST, 'SOUTH PARK'

The MTV Networks pulled their usual bait-and-switch this morning, moving an appearance by "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone that was billed for 9 a.m. to the very end of the cable channels' three-hour TCA slot.

Which means, of course, that critics who only cared about one Comedy Central show have now sat through Mr. T, "The Naked Trucker" (by all appearances, very nearly naked, but thankfully covered by a guitar), a show starring a pair of testicles and something called "Freak Show," which was co-created by David Cross.

Poor Cross, who'd normally have gotten a warmer welcome in this room, wasn't feeling the love, especially when, after joking about a critic he claimed was asleep, the reporter shot back that he'd had to get up early to see the guys from "South Park."

Yes, it's Day 4, folks, and we're getting testy...
