It's generally considered bad form to ask actresses about their weight loss during open sessions -- afterward, it's terrifying how personal some of the questions can be -- if only because no one one wants to hear what it really takes to go from a Size 6 to a Size 0.
Men are apparently fair game, though, so someone's just asked Brad Garrett, who's starring with Joely Fisher in a new Fox sitcom, "'Til Death," about what appears to be something of a weight loss, though not, perhaps, as dramatic as the one he underwent during his run on "Everybody Loves Raymond."
After first claiming to have gained 70 pounds ("I'm on the Dr. Phil diet -- I'm trying to work up to 300 pounds"), Garrett allowed as how he'd lost a bit of weight in connection with a movie he recently made with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, "Music and Lyrics By."
"I have a weird career," said Garrett. "I'm very picky and not in demand...I tend to lose weight when I'm hired."
