Peter Morgan, who wrote "The Queen," offers the evening's first political speech ("What do we have to do to make our leaders listen to us?"), and actually manages to tie it into the theme of his film, but is then so intimidated by producers telling him to wrap it up that he scurries off the stage like a frightened rabbit.
Alec Baldwin races to the stage to accept a Globe for "30 Rock" and shares news of his recent hernia surgery. And gets to talk much, much longer than Peter Morgan without being yanked.
