The sad thing about watching the Globes on TV is that you get the sense that all the fun stuff goes on while we're watching the commercials.

What the show needs is a webcam in the ladies' room -- where at least two winners over the years have been discovered when their names were called -- and maybe a few scattered around the tables so we can see (and, better yet, hear) what they're all up to around those tables.

Maybe we'd even find out what it was Kyra Sedgwick said that made Jack Nicholson laugh.
