We've just been treated -- if that's the right word -- to a performance by 10 members of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders' show group.
"There's nothing jiggling on any of them," remarks an envious colleague, who hails from a city where Cowboys cheerleaders aren't necessarily regarded as the brides of Satan.
Still, I have to admit she's right. (Though I'm sure the same could be said of Eagles cheerleaders.)
The women are here to promote CMT's "reality" series, "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team," which launches its second season Sept. 14.
Whatever Eagles fans might think of a certain city in Texas, it's a critic from Dallas who suggests that the cheerleaders' frequent use of the word "sacred" in the show to describe a number of their rituals might be regarded as "a bit much."
"To anybody who's worn the blue-and-white uniform, it's sacred," replies head choreographer Judy Trammell.
