Great idea Flavia. I have a window air conditioning unit in good condition that I'm not using, but don't know where to donate in the Los Angeles area. Any ideas?

Flavia - I might be able to help on both counts. My business (near Philadelphia) has a 230V 12,000 BTU room air conditioner that we no longer need. Also have a truck.

It was so good of you to spread the word that this was needed so much old or no longer needed stuff goes to waste. I am big on recycling
e-bay etc, finding new homes for unwanted things
rather than in the dumpster so good for you.
