Fun with Net Neutrality

As I have mentioned before, in the current climate the Internet is the most open and independent venue for news. It helps to foster cooperation and democratic ideals; net neutrality is therefore a must! Don't forget to take action by talking to your Representatives and cable companies.

Check out these great Jon Stewart clips (1, 2, 3) on YouTube. He is one of the few on TV giving this story the attention it deserves and he certainly is a lot more fun to listen to than I am about net neutrality.

The Daily Show clips are hilarious. How the people of Alaska continue to elect Ted Stevens is beyond me. Perhaps his inability to understand the internet explains his inability to understand that Alaska is a beautiful state with scenery unparalelled in our country, and and that Congress should not allow the big oil companies to rape the land for the sake of even larger profits.
