Speaking of things to be thankful for, I am thankful for the brave men and women who serve their country. Let's treat them with the honor and care they deserve, as our Daily News Editorial suggests.
To take action to help the troops check out our Support and Defend section. If you are a Veteran or family member of a Veteran, thank you. Also, you can check out our Military resources page and my profile on www.hooah.com, a military networking site.

I support the troops! Now there is a bold and risky statement Flavia... These Inquirer blogs aren't worth "the paper they're printed on!" oh yeah, there is no paper! I guess they truly are worthless.
News Flash- The nation has matured since Viet Nam. We can separate the warriors from the politicians. We can honor the fighters while questioning the fight.
Flavia, use the pulpit for something worthwhile like espousing political change instead of being a vapid cheerleader shouting platitudes. Rah!

This is my first blog as a civilian (sort of)!!! As a citizen/Marine (I did reenlist into the IRR)I have to say that we need as many cheerleaders, coaches, players, arm chair quarterbacks, and every citizen hunter you can imagine to change anything. I mean anything.
I can get Patriots point that change must occur in the "real" world. But I will use this site to come take in her real support and the support of others, and then recharged, go out and do good. To me this site is a part of the "real" world and plays an important part, it lets me know that people from all over care.
It takes a whole lot of us doing what we can. I know that tonight, I do not plan on changing the world. I am going to a hibachi grill with some friends and drink saki and reconnect with my home town friends in San Antonio.
There, I will recharge on sake and friendship.
We all need this from time to time to do what we can. Thank you Citizen Hunter for being a place to recharge.

Flavia,I just saw you on tv on H&C at 9. I am really wondering how you can receive Our Lord 6 times a week and still cannot understand that the golden compass is bait for parents to buy the trilogy of pullman's books where the real danger exists. Pullman has declared in print, his wish to destroy all children's faith in God. The same children that Our Lord loves so dearly. Please use your God-given talents to inform parents of this danger. God will appreciate it. Ask him the next time right after you receive HIM to send HIS Holy Spirit to you for enlightenment about this movie. May God Bless you. Tony

Flavia, Im an American that left because I couldnt stand where America was going with Reagan President, and Ive seen America go down intellectually and morally since then. Religious fanatasism and economic selfishness has led America to the state it is in today, where greed has destroyed a wonderful economy built after WWII. I just want to say I saw you on H&C also, on the same subject as the preceeding poster and it is refreshing to hear your viewpoint, that religion and doubt are mutually beneficial and that fanatisism is always a danger, that ideas that inspire thought only enrich life and even children can judge for themselves right from wrong and only lasting thoughts are based on truth. If someone cant see this, then they dont really have faith and depend on others to strenthen theirs through mob mentality and cohersion. Thanks for your strong stand and powerful appearance on the show.
