"No insurance? We've Got you covered!"
We all know that proper treatment is essential to winning the battle against cancer, but a lack of financial resources and insurance may prevent individuals from getting it.
It was recently brought to my attention that the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and their grassroots advocates are helping uninsured women with low or moderate income diagnosed with breast and cervical cancer to get quality care and treatment through the Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention and Treatment Program (BCCPT). The Coalition represents, supports, and serves breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania through educational programming, legislative advocacy and unique outreach initiatives. The PBCC, a statewide non-profit organization, creates hope by providing action and information to women with breast cancer.
Here is what you need to know about the Program:

HOW ABOUT BREAST CANCER PREVENTION>>>>>Please Acknowledge the Links Between ORAL Contraception/ Abortion and Breast cancer. July 29th 2005 World health Organization (WHO) in Geneva Switzerland, said ORAL CONTRACEPTION is a Group ONE "CARCINOGEN" Same category as Tobacco.... USA is the Number one Consumer of Oral Contraception worldwide also Highest incidence of Breast cancer! Look at Breast Cancer Incidence between Ireland and England for the Abortion Connection. This is Criminal how the USA Media and Professional Medical Community and Associations Ignore this worldwide Known Phenomenon!! The Effluent discharged from women on the PILL is screwing up the Water and Fish in our Eco system... even the Greenies acknowledge that Much... Natural Birth control is Free and No dire side effects... like Breast Cancer or slaughtered unborn Babies.

Kevin,
The information you post is of questionable validity at best. I think we went through a similar conversation last year on this topic and "debunked" this misinformation then. If there are clinical trials or scientific evidence to back this claim regarding oral contraceptives, please post it. Othewise, please refrain from "scare tactics" wrapped in an unrelated ideological agenda.
Flavia - thank you for posting this information for Pennsylvania women. No woman should die from breast cancer due to lack of insurance -- here in PA or throughout our country. Until a cure is found, prevention (through living a healthy lifestyle and eating well and exercising) and early detection (self exams, mammography, and breast MRIs) and early treatment are the best defense a woman has.
