Holiday Book Drive

Happy Holidays, Citizen Hunters! I just wanted to let you know about a great opportunity to help spread the holiday cheer to Philadelphia children. Barnes & Noble Booksellers, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Project H.O.M.E. have teamed up to collect book donations. This is a great opportunity for you to share some of your favorite books with others!
How it works: Simply find a book that you think a child would enjoy (there are even tags in each store suggesting books for specific children), purchase the book, and then give it to the bookseller at the register. The book will be delivered to various children, or the individual it was specifically purchased for.

Please Visit your local Barnes & Noble store, Children's Hospital, Project H.O.M.E. or barnesandnoble.com/ for more information.

Flavia, I Live in Florida, near South Beach, do you know of any similiar programs here. I have many 'beach" books, just laying around my Condo that I have read and want to contribute to a worthy cause. By the way if you are ever in the neighborhood come visit.

In fact was just down there--you will love some blogs I am going to put up about the Greyhound adventure I had with my sister on a college tour to U of F. Turns out most Barnes and Noble that I have gone to have a similar program. I went to the one in City Place, in West Palm--not sure where you are and they were collecting books for kids so just pile them up and drop them off, and thank you!

I know EXACTLY where City Place is. My Mom lives in West Palm Beach right on Flagler Drive.

Really nice area, I just looooove the Palm trees in Florida.
