Here's a youtube video from Christmastime that a friend sent me, of my appearance on Hannity & Colmes to debate Ralph Reed over The Golden Compass. Thought some of you would enjoy it.

I love how it took them two minutes and 30 seconds (after about a 30 second comm.) to get to Flavia... good point on being able to strengthen one's faith by seeing differing viewpoints!...

You can say that again, but what else is new?! Amazing the freedom you have to speak your heart when all you care about is helping people. Maybe other folks on tv should try this novel tact.

i am glad that there is someone like you out there. it has always annoyed me when american news stations lead with stories that shouldn't be lead stories, i.e. paris hilton in jail, the gloden compass debate, violence in video games etc. it is somewhat dishearten that these should lead news stories when should horrible things are happening in this world and yet the majority of the american population are left in the dark.
as you said yourself, people are been killed across the world because of their beliefs, yet fox news is complaining about a movie coming out for xmas. it somewhat boggles the mind.
i am glad there is someone like you on tv, you bring a open view to topic are you are not afraid to express your opinion.
i know i live at the other side of the atlantic and the chances of me changing american news is extremely slim. but when i see someone like you on tv speak their own mind, it does fill me with hope. and hope is a powerful thing, and no good thing ever dies. i've been reading your site now for about a year and i am glad it exists.
again thanks flavia for speaking your mind. and always remember that as you are walking to make an even mightier impact on the world around us. please know that i am walking right behind you in full support.
