OK Citizen Hunters, two years after I started writing about net neutrality, and so many of you helped out on a grassroots level, I have good news to report and want to ask for your help again.
The Internet Freedom Preservation Act of 2008 bill was introduced and if passed it would protect Net Neutrality and will promote much needed dialogue on this very important issue.
Big phone and cable companies should not be able to control the Internet and act as gatekeepers by slowing down or filtering web sites. An open Internet is critical to every American. Please reach out to your Representatives and let them know you support the bill!

The inspiring violations that gave cause for this "ACT", appear challangable under the laws that are in effect now.
The "clever" politicians -whenever shady corporate manipulations are being challanged, under existing laws- create a "new" law or "ACT" to -supposedly- address(divert) the issue; as though -without this measure- the issue could not be presently pursued under existing law.
This, I believe, is the main motive and purpose for the majority of "ACT"s, that -in such cases- are passed.., and, by installing such "ACT"s, adversly, create a diversionary influence to immunity and, or, protection, in benifit to the causal violator.
These serious conditions we find ourselvs will not be sincerely addressed, if the citizens continue to trust and play homage, to the Washington "ACT"ors and their "Split-Tongue" "ACT"ions....
