Citizenhunters have heard my take on how eating meat contributes to global warming and other environmental ills, but in case you needed more reasons to take part in the Great American Meat Out today*, this great article from last Friday should supply you with plenty!
*(Some people do their Meatout day on a weekend, so if you just saw this halfway through Thursday, feel free to give it a shot on Saturday or Sunday!)

Cows contribute to global warming and are treated badly, so what's next...a campaign pledge from the candidates to decrese our dependance on meat? You want to decrese meat consumption, write about doing it for health reasons, it's a far more compelling reason.
These meatless days have about the same effect as the silly "don't buy (Exxon, Shell, whatever) gas on Thursday" campaigns do...a total waste of time.

I've been meatless for years and I've never felt healthier. It's great for the environment and for my health. I would never support the barbaric industry of factory farming. I've seen footage of what goes on in there and I will never be a part of it.

There is nothing more repulsing than eating the flesh of an animal. Since I have become a Vegan (no animal products at all), I am 100% healthier, with alot more energy and significant weight loss.

I'll tell you one thing though, nothing turns me on more than a girl biting into a steak.
Not to say, you are wrong for your choice, just an observation.

I will start cutting back, but I do like meat.
