"affecting far to many Americans"?

I think you need a grammar/spell checker - should be "far TOO many Americans".

And how many is too many (or "to many")?

Someone explain to me why people that take out mortages they can't afford should be granted special aid, counseling, diversion or anything else? This is a country that is turning from any personal responsibility for your actions to a place where the govt. will just waste more tax dollars bailing the stupid out of their maistakes.

Sister whatever,

I think Flavia's grammar was correct unless I didn't get your joke.

I think all these people got themselves into trouble because of the false sense of security Bush gave us all these years.

Luckily, I work for the government so I will never be rich but I'll never be poor and I will always be able to make my payments, unless I get fired, heehee. This is the big reason why I took the test in order to get a government job.

But, mind you, I am also responsible with my finances and I know my limit/s, unless Bruce Springsteen is touring then it all goes out the window!

I corrected the "to many" shortly after Sister Anita's comment. So it was probably correct by the time you saw it, The Boss.

(Unfortunately, neither a grammar nor spell checker would have been dependable for this - "to" is a correctly spelled word, and "to many Americans" is a correct construction, in the sense such as "To many Americans, good grammar is irrelevant." What's actually needed is slower typing.)
