According to a new study happiness is contagious -- I hope you catch it. The study shows that the more happy people you are around the happier you yourself are. The more connections you make with family and friends the more satisfied you are.
I suppose like most pearls of wisdom it sounds quite obvious, but thought it could be a nice reminder to all of us.

Yeah, but what do you do if you're actually clinically depressed (I am)? It's hard to connect to family and friends in these times. We'll I guess there's always television.
But thanks for writing this. It's a good reminder for me to try.

I wanted to say thank you for being brave enough to post your comment. You are not alone and many of the smartest, most talented, and special people I have known or for that matter history has known have suffered from depression. It is a serious illness. I hope Citizenhutner lifts your spirits at times, but obv. when it comes to depression it takes more than that. I will try to find the time to write something. I will say that the holidays is a known time for many to be blue so hang in there.
