This one is to our Philly and Southeastern PA Citizen Hunters...
I started CitizenHunter.com in part to try to make it as easy as possible for folks to spend their humanitarian equity, help those in need, stay on top of the issues, and become more involved in our communities. Well it looks like Penn Environment has one-upped me in a serious way and I could not be happier about it. Helping the environment has never been as easy or delicious!
This Thursday (June 22nd) when you eat out at participating restaurants in Philly a percentage of the money will go to help PennEnvironment with its important work. Citizen Hunter readers have helped take action on many PennEvironment issues, from global warming to mercury pollution.
So check out which restraunts are participating, give them a shout-out for helping fund projects for clean air, water, energy, and open spaces and get your grub on.
All the restaurants are great. My personal favorites are Monk's Cafe (beers from all over the world and the best French fries I have ever had) and the Black Sheep pub.
I think I can help the cause by drinking a cold beer or two.
