Mary Leonard
Flab to Fab has really jump-started me. You know the promises everyone makes for the new year, how you're going to get in shape, eat better, and then before you know it, it's Memorial Day and it never happened? I really needed this push. Now it feels like a way of life for me.
Trainer Gabriel Gaskin says: I'm confident that Mary will continue to make this a way of life. I can't wait to see how she does in the next three months on her own. Anyone can do this if they put their mind to it.
Sherita Jackson
I had a barbecue on Sunday. Everybody said how nice I looked, and keep up the good work. I had [nurse] uniforms from about two years ago - I couldn't fit in them, but now I can again! They fit better now than they did then. I'm anticipating more weight dropping off.
Trainer Jeff Shablin says: Sherita is continuing to look and feel great. She remains focused and enthusiastic. The changes physically are dramatic, but I can see wonderful changes in how she feels about herself. Her confidence keeps growing, and it shows in how she carries herself.
Vaughn Morrison
My cardiologist, orthopedist and primary doctors are all pleased, as are my dentist, nutritionist, aqua therapist, trainer and wife. I have exceeded all my challenge goals. Thanks for encouraging, supporting and praying for me.
Trainer Melissa Kolczynski says: Vaughn is experiencing some back pain. So he has been focusing on his physical therapy instead of the gym. It's important to work within your own limitations to allow the body to heal or recover from illness. Vaughn has the rest of his life to stay fit and meet his goals.
Cynthia Santiago
I don't think I would have achieved the results I have without my family and friends cheering me on. I am not compromising, although many have told me I am starting to thin out. My ultimate goal: 135 pounds.
Trainer Kimberly Garrison says: It takes a village! Indeed it does. Whatever we endeavor to do we never truly do it alone. Like an orchestra, we all have our part to play, but in the end it's all about the group.
B.J. Wilson
It's going pretty good. The only problem is some scheduling conflicts with Jim. I haven't weighed myself in a while - I'm a pretty large coward when it comes to that. [But] I'm down three pants sizes. I feel good. I have so much energy now. It's really noticeable.
Trainer Jim Hart says: The past three weeks, B.J. has been on his own but still managed to exercise regularly and eat healthy. He has truly been a role model. B.J. does not make excuses for missing exercise or eating poorly. Even though he slips once in a while he always gets right back on track.
