- 6:00 p.m. FAST BIKE RIDE TO CARVERSVILLE: 19-20 mph, 43 miles. Start at Hatboro Horsham High School, 899 Horsham Road, Parking Lot E, Horsham, PA. Join us for our once a year weeknight ride to Carversville. Very fast pace, two major climbs, no rest stops, lots of fun. Bring plenty to drink. Pace line on Mechanicsville Road (speeds hit 30 mph). - 6:00 p.m. HANDLOFF PARK BIKE RIDE: Leave from Handloff Park, Newark (formerly Barksdale Park at the corner of Casho Mill Rd. & Barksdale Rd.). Each week this ride will follow one of three different routes. Terrain will be flat on the southern route towards Chesapeake City and rolling to hilly on the northern route into Pike Creek & western route into Cecil County. Average speed will range from 15-17 mph on the flat route to 13-15 mph on the rolling to hilly routes. Distance will range from 30-35 miles depending on speed and daylight. - 9:00 a.m. THREE PARK HIKE: 7 miles, BRISK PACE. A loop hike that includes Cooper River Park, Newton Lake Park and Knight's Park. Meet in the parking lot of the Lobster Trap restaurant on North Park drive in Pennsauken. Take Cuthbert Blvd. South from Routes 38 or 70. Go to the first light just before the Cooper River Bridge and turn right on to North Park Drive. The parking lot is about half a mile down on the left. - 10:00 a.m. LEARN BASIC CANOE SKILLS: Great Valley Nature Center, Rt. 29 and Hollow Road, P.O. Box 82, Devault, PA.
