    • 6:00 p.m. THURSDAY FROM KIMBERTON SHOW AND GO BIKE RIDE: Various miles, Pace: A/B. Leaves from Kimberton Fairgrounds off route 113, south of Phoenixville. Use the gravel parking lot off Kimberton Road. Primarily A and B riders have been coming, but it only takes a couple of riders to get a more mellow peloton going.     • 6:00 p.m. NEWARK BIKE RIDE: Leave from Handloff Park, Newark at the corner of Casho Mill Road and Barksdale Roads. Each week this ride will follow one of three different routes. Terrain will be flat on the southern route towards Chesapeake City and rolling to hilly on the northern route into Pike Creek and western route into Cecil County. Average speed will range from 15-17 mph on the flat route and 13-15 mph on the rolling to hilly routes. Distance will range from 20-35 miles depending on speed and daylight. The ongoing, every Friday night, all year round, Friday night fitness hike; where we try to work up a sweat exploring the sand roads and trails of Brendan Byrne State Forest. Be prepared to walk at an average of 4 MPH, 15 minutes per mile pace with few breaks. Bring water and wear well broken in boots, shoes, or sneakers (sneakers are adequate in dry conditions). Socks are also important foot gear; synthetics and wool being better at preventing blisters (avoid cotton socks). We will have a shortcut for those who would like a shorter distance. Helmet is required and bring a full bottle of water with your bike in good working order.     • 9:00 a.m. PAPER MILL PARK TO MODENA BIKE RIDE: Join us for a 60-mile fairly hilly ride departing Paper Mill Park heading through Chester County to Modena, PA. We’ve modified a route originally developed by Daniel Dole, adding some hills to facilitate Sally's training for Wally’s tour. We will take a short rest stop at about mile 30 near a brook, and hopefully we can enjoy watching the belters grazing nearby, as we did when scouting the route! (Come on the ride to find out what this breed of cows looks like!) Bring plenty of food and drinks, as places to stop for supplies are sparse. The pace will be 13-14 mph.     • 5:15 p.m. WYOMING BIKE RIDE: We will be riding through the rural countryside of Kent county and surrounding areas. We will be adding mileage up to about 35-40 miles at a pace of 19+ mph average. Rides start from the Wyoming Park on Third Street at 5:15 pm. The park is just down the street from Halls restaurant across from the railroad tracks. Rides will be very flat and possibly windy. Pacelines will be used.     • 6:00 p.m. RED LION BIKE RIDE: Evening ride from Red Lion United Methodist Church, Rt. 71 and Church Road (next to Delaware Lawn and Garden), Bear, DE. There will be a "B" ride (15-18 mph) and a "C" ride (10-13 mph). If "A" riders show, their ride is a "Show & Go".     • 6:00 p.m. DUNBAR’S BIKE RIDE: These MS Training Rides leave Dunbar's Cyclery on Philadelphia Pike, just north of Washington Street Extension. The rides will run until the end of September.
