He may not be a candidate yet, but Bob Brady is getting an endorsement, from the Philadelphia Gay News. Check it out here; also includes how the other Would-be Mayors have done on gay and lesbian issues. Note that the endorsement calls Tom Knox the "Marty Weinberg of 2007." Comments?

This endorsement is short sighted in itself. It looks like it was just thrown together at the last moment to jump on a bandwagon that isn't going anywhere. They choose the one candidate who hasn't done anything directly for the city's GLBT community. They list the other candidate's accomplishments with respect to their goals and issues, but then endorse Brady because it seemed popular at the time. This is totally bogus and without merit...

Brady doesn't run; he's got a sordid past and while he might be a "great guy", he's done a lot of really, really questionable things. He wouldn't be able to withstand the scrutiny of a Mayoral campaign.
