Please use the comment section to tell us whether you agree or disagree with the following statement:
The Next Mayor project should no longer include any references to Milton Street on the thenextmayor.com or the site blog aside from links to stories in the Headlines archive.
We promise to make this a legitimately Milton-free zone and leave that circus to those who do it best - commercial radio and television - if the majority of commenters express that we do so. Unlike Milton, we'll stand by that promise.
The floor is yours...

I would like to vote for that.

AGREE...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE stop giving into him, let's get back to the "issues, not egos". Thanks

I know it's fun the write about Milton, but I think that The Next Mayor has been filling a niche by being so focused on issues in the past and would like it to continue doing so. Since there are so many other sources of Milton information out there, and so few for legitimate information, I'll vote for making this a Milton-free zone.

I submit an enthusiastic yes. A "a legitimately Milton-free zone" would allow the blog to focus on more central issues to the campaign. I'm sure the Milton Show will continue to remain visible anyway, whether we like it or not.

Hmm, four votes...clearly a landslide. What say you, Dan?

YES! As painfully amusing as it might be to read about Milt - sorta like a car wreck - until he is offically a candidate, The Next Mayor should step back and be one of the few sources for depth and substance on the true candidates for Mayor of Philadelphia ... we'll rely on the Weekly and WIP to keep us abreast of T's antics...

I say keep it up. How dismal is so much of the rest of the news! How about limiting it to one post a day?

I Agree. Please stop talking about me. I'm trying to run a serious campaign and you are turning it into some kind of circus.
(I'm not really Milton, but I am pregnant with knowledge and I do agree)

Yes, it was amusing at first, now it's just annoying and distracting

Agree. End the Milton talk.

The Milton talk is distracting. Please focus on real issues.

Milton is a joke and the local TV stations are doing a great job of covering his stupidity in between stories about transfat and Anna Nicole Smith. Leave Milton coverage to the teleprompt readers on 3,6 and 10.

Please end coverage of Milton.

No more about Milton. Next Mayor is playing a genuinely worthwhile role with 5 candidates for a fast approaching primary. Leave that garbage about Milton for local TV stations. They already excel at bottom-feeding.
