That will leave Tom Knox as the only candidate not to put out some kind of statement about arts and culture. If that's your major issue, you can ask him directly at the arts and culture mayoral forum on April 15th at the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Arts and culture not only add beauty, meaning, vibrancy and spirit to a community, they bring important economic benefits as well. The arts also give rise to dreams and hopes for what is possible. Most importantly, they provide meaningful and safe activities in which to engage children and draw out their talents and strengths. I'd rather support them in picking up a paintbrush, trumpet or pair of dance shoes than a gun. Wouldn't you?
