    Brady endorsed by firefighters

The Brady endorsement we mentioned earlier is indeed the Philadelphia firefighters union, IAFF Local 22.

    Observer:

Is there a requirement that firefighters live in the city? I honestly don't know. If so, this means something. Otherwise, I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

    Wendy:

I just checked. Firefighters ARE required to live in the city.

    FTP:

Hmm.. fire burns wood, firefighters fight fires, carpenters rebuild with wood. What a vicious cycle!! How come many of the contractors I see in my "locally-owned" development neighborhood have Jersey plates on their pickup trucks?

    sj:

This is shocking! More union support for Brady. This is getting real predictable.

    Anonymous:

Ask yourself a question, do you like John Street?
If the answer is no, then why on earth would you support Bob Brady??
Brady LIED to every Philadelphian, simply to ensure Street got re-elected. Why? Because it meant he got to keep getting his "cut" of the city.

    Eddie:

Great endorsement from men and women who are truly heroes...Go Brady Go!

    Dave [TypeKey Profile Page]:

Unions bosses are heroes? News to me.

    Love 2 Dance:

Hey Anonymous, How dare you!!! How dare you say Bob lied to the people and got his "cut". You are so wrong. Obviously you don't Bob because if you did you would know that 1) Bob doesn't lie and 2) Bob never got a "cut" from anything. NEVER. You know what..you should thank God you're anonymous because if not you would be taken to court for false accusations. BTW people have ways of finding out who people are -- Anonymous (NOT ANY MORE)

    Love 2 Dance,
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the poster is correct, it's true. Bobby has publicly admitted to the fact, on tape.

As for his "cut", the list is long. Pension for a no-show job, 100K a year job working for one of Fumo's co-conspirators for his wife, 10K a year spot on the Blue Cross Board for his wife.
