Want to make sure I get this out there...Dwight Evans held an event today to compare his record on education to Bob Brady's.
He was in front of Constitution High School to lay out his education cred. Evans worked for the takeover of the schools and has actively supported educational options, including charters, for city kids.
The accompanying press release, by the way, showed a liberal use of scare quotes:
Dwight Evans discussed Bob Brady’s “agenda” for school reform today on the public sidewalk in front of the new Constitution High School for American Studies. Evans has repeatedly taken issue with Brady’s proposed “solution” for improving schools in Philadelphia: simply giving the Mayor one more appointment on the School Reform Commission.

Makes sense coming from a "viable candidate" for mayor.

Evans is attacking Brady because he knows Brady can win.

Brady cannot and will not win - he is in 4th place and still dropping.
If you can't fill out a form, you shouldn't be mayor!

Brady can win? Are you joking? His entire campaign is summed up in two phrases..."I'll findz the money" & "I knowz people". He'd be slightly better as mayor than John Street, but that's not saying much.

I know the bar is set pretty low. But I'm not sure Brady could even measure up to Street.
He has secretly conceded.

Rick is an idiot and a Doc minion -you can tell since he cannot spell.
As for the Street reference dope -Rendell gave us Street and your idiot Boss Gestapo Doc is Street's partner in crime

Check this out!
How can you quantify hiring a croney electrician for Dougherty at 65K per year - when you clearly -clearly need more inspectors and clerks. When Mc Donald started to question the commisioner, he requested that Personnel post a Housing inspector position opening!
Look into it -you will not be sorry you did - this is a stone cold Street approved -Dougherty deal to infiltrate and control L & I -and the Commissioner wants to come back after he leaves on August 16, 2007 via the DROP PROGRAM. I can't blame him - he does nothing now and has gotten a real big ego since being appointed - you can take this to the bank
A Vote for Knox is a Vote for Street and affirmation of his 8 horrible years via Dougherty.
WAKE UP!!!!

Hey Anonymous dope...Since you're obviously a little slow, I was trying to illustrate how Brady speaks, hence the 2 spelling mistakes. Also, as I've mentioned a couple of times before on this blog, I'm voting for Nutter.
But I don't expect you to have your facts straight. You work for Brady after all.

No one is listening to you Rick - Nutter loses!

Cookies and milk break must be over -here come Dougherty's illiterate members waxing anonymously
Settin the record straight -y'all better not be in West Philly on Tuesday -cause they ain't no black folks in the 98 union and we'' see you comin!
Posted by Fattah in West Philly | May 13, 2007 10:18 PM
Don't worry - we have a lot of cowards and pretenders in 98 -you won't see them, they will be too busy trying to intimidate their families and friends...won't vwork!
BRADY FOR MAYOR

They need to block the bridges on Tuesday so that the union goons from South Jersey can't come over and interfere with OUR elections!

Brady will be returning to Washington in a minute and Evans to Harrisburg. Both will share Tom Knox's blue-prints for a better Philadelphia and surrounding communities which in return will balance the scales of reform.
Jas....
