No food metaphors in his latest release, but Evans did provide a pretty cool cartoon airplane.
There's another airplane that represents Evans poverty fighting record (it's in the air, apparently) but I accidentally deleted it before I could upload it to the server and the Evans folks made sure to let me know where I could get that picture, so in the interest of equal time (in talking about one candidates press release), here it is:
By the way, does Chaka Fattah Air fly to Mexico? I need a vacation.

Dear Mr. Evans,
I like you. I really do. I think most Philadelphians want to support you for higher office--just not mayor. You deserve to be in the U.S. Congress. You're a top-notch guy and I'm proud to have you as my representative. Please don't get discouraged by the mayor's race. We need you to continue to fight the good fight. The enthusiasm for Nutter's campaign is just the beginning of a change sweeping American politics. You're definitely a part of that change and Philadelphia will stand by your side.

Once again, I think Evans' logic is good, but his ad tactics lean too far to the obscure.
