I'll just quote this Knox release verbatim. I think it's pretty clear.

Bizzare
McCLURE for the entire race has wanted to protray himself as joined at the hip with Michael Nutter saying that he will continue Nutter's leadership of the 4th. Cindy Bass is a died-in-the-wool Fattah leiutenant. And while McClure, Ruben, Anastasio are certifiable "reformers" by any measure - its really hard to put a lot of consistancy behind an "anti-pay-to-play" ticker that includes someone with th elast name of Street.
Sharif I will assume was one of Jannie's additions.
Strange lineup.

Okay, I have along with other faithful bloggers posted the TRUTH about Knox here and on other relevant blogs. Truth like he was fired from his job, truth like Rendell’s people say he was over paid with that $1, truth like he’s playing footsie with Younblood, Doc’s goons, and Jannie Blackwell. Each time faithful reader you have been skeptical only to hear the truths we speak are, well…true.
So here you go. Knox announces his endorsements and there’s Blackwell right there. So, let’s try for some more. That deal was brokered by a Local 98/Doc guy by the name of John Fenton. Blackwell has demands before she throws her support to the “outsider” Knox. These demands include:
Won’t it be ironic if people who identify with Knox, or want to be Knox in the Northeast by voting for him become the cause of the largest shift in services OUT OF the Northeast in the city’s history. All because Knox will do ANYTHING to win, even cut bad deals with upstanding, ethical people like Blackwell. For an outsider, how’s he doing?

since when did Blackwell become a reform candidate? This is news to me.

The anonymous post above regarding the "effects" of a Knox / Blackwell win is fascinating.
Not to mention that Blackwell is also head of the PHA, who just extended Carl Greene's contract despite budget cuts that forced layoffs. It would be interesting to see what new actions Blackwell might propose in her role on the PHA board with Knox as mayor.
Possible new deployment of section 8 dollars? PHA has been working under a self-imposed cap since 2000. But if Knox and Blackwell win and implement this new power structure, all bets may be off.

How much is Knox endorsement really worth? He's buying this election and trying to make the point that he is someone from the outside but he is really a wolf that is showing who he really is everyday. He is going around the city given out free meals to people in need? Why don't he just give back the money that he stole over the years. Blackwell being his new buddy just proves my point.
