    Yesterday's photo album

I got so busy yesterday that I was unable to share some of the experiences that Jeff Bundy (WHYY Senior Publicist) and I had at Famous Deli. So to continue the meta-tradition that we started last November, here's pictures of people eating.

Click on "Continue Reading" to be part of the action... of people eating...

Congressman Brady, enjoying the idea of being "The Next Mayor." Maybe if he won, he could have worn a sash that says "Mayor" on it wherever he went.

Nutter and Brady share a warm embrace. Is this an indication of a good working relationship for the future that capitalizes on each of their strengths or is it a sign that are limits to "reform?" Our hope is the former.

Tom Knox with official "The Next Mayor" gear.

Knox declares peace. (Out of the shot, Jannie Blackwell sitting right across from him.)

Knox supporters/Local 98 members try their best to block the large Knox=Shark banner stationed outside of Famous Deli. They end looking like part of the anti-Knox entourage... something about the matching color schemes.

Well, we figured if we tried to get all of the candidates with a button that says "The Next Mayor," we'd be right with one of them.

WHYY's Stephanie Marudas in the media scrum around the front runner.

Olivia and her dad share a moment with the guy who made her famous, commercial producer/director Mark Moskowitz.

The Founders of this peculiar little tradition, Neil Oxman, David Glancey and Arthur Makadon.

    Anony-mouse:

Note the "kaballa" bracelet that Brady is wearing... Fumo has been seen wearing something similar.

Why would an embrace be a "sign" "that there are limits to 'reform'"?

    Fante:

I think the photo caption conveys no intelligible ideas.

    D.E. II:

Allow me to interpret the signs for you Fante. If Nutter is making nice with Brady, it may mean that he isn't so interested in helping to "reform" the Dem Party.

Particularly interesting is that Nutter made it quite clear in his Inquirer endorsement interview that he was not in favor of Brady remaining as the head of the Dem Party.

Hmmm. Has Nutter changed his tune? If so, what might have caused him to do so?

    Fante:

Nutter "changed his tune" because they "embraced" in public?
