(bumped to the top until the actual announcement is made at 2pm)
Just received a media advisory from the Nutter-elect administration saying that he'll be announcing "three key appointments" today at 2pm at the Criminal Justice Center. Is the location a hint? He's already appointed a police commissioner. Could we be talking DHS Commissioner or Managing Director?
No doubt someone will leak these before hand and they'll show up in the blogosphere soon. I'll keep an eye on the usual suspects and post whatever I find.
But if not, check back shortly after 2 for the news and a little later for some video from the event.
(edited to add) Sources tell "Heard in the Hall" that one of the appointments will be a new Inspector General. I guess that'll free up Seth Williams for his next run for District Attorney.
(edited to add)
A source tells the Daily News that one of today's appointments will be Amy Kurland who was the assistant U.S. Attorney assigned to prosecute the case of Julian Quarles, a former housing and fire inspector for Philadelphia’s Department of Licenses who was charged with 2 counts of extortion for accepting cash gifts in return for erasing code violations that he had found without any corrections to the violations.
She apparently is also the daughter of former City Solicitor Seymour Kurland, who served back in the Goode administration. We're still checking up on her background but that's what we have for now.

Another boring episode of Nutter's elective mayoral journey. Like folks are really going to be standing in the cold at the Criminal Justice Center to hear about the (3) new serving examples of ? " lol ".
Two p.m. I'll be into some satisfaction entitlements :-)

Sue ,
Might as well watch Channels 3-6 or 10 this evening. Just think I left an independent ally for Dan's report :-)

I all the time download a complete movie in parts, that’s always present at YouTube, as my network connection is extremely slow and YouTube fulfils my wishes.
