Today's Quote of the Day comes from a story about an unfortunate incident at Masterman High School yesterday.
A group of students was attacked by up to 15 unknown teens as they worked on a project outside of their school at 17th and and Spring Garden. At least 3 Masterman students were seriously hurt with one being rushed to the hospital.
Here's the quote from A.J., one of the students who was attacked:
"It's nothing you can do. It's never gonna change," A.J., a senior, said of the attack. "That's the way life is in Philadelphia."
Whaddya think? Is he right or just feeling the frustration of having been attacked for doing nothing more, it seems, than working on a school project outside of his school?

i attend masterman and i am in 8th grade and i just wrote a poem on the violence issue and i totally agree with him
i actually said its never gonna change in rhe poem

phillly is jus going crazy..I'm from west philly. I got a lot of brothers and I be worried about them.they have to watch there back to make sure no nigga try to shoot them and jump them..and a lot of boyz is getting shot in philly..its so much violence.its a shame. philly is jus goin to be philly and neva change..blackz killin blackz..it shouldn't even be that way..

Is there no moderator for these posts? I was searching your school's website to see how you compare to some of the other Philly magnet schools, and I see posts about jumping on penises and sucking di**. It really makes your school look unprofessional.
