Philly State rep results

Things are really close early on in each of the 4 state rep primaries that I promised results for... let's get to it.

In the 175th with 19 out of 63 divisions reporting:

Mike O'Brien - 1159
Ann Dicker - 814
Terry Graboyes - 802

In the 179th with 47 out of 55 reporting

Tony Payton - 890
write-in - 846
(write-in could be any write-in but the candidate waging the run in campaign is the Democratic backed candidate, Emilio Vazquez so it's probably him)

In the 180th with 42 out of 60 division reporting

St. Rep. Angel Cruz - 1791
William Cartagena - 1131

In the 182nd with 37 out of 61 reporting:

Babette Josephs - 2148
Larry Farnese - 2042

A real barn burner! Could this be it for Josephs? Stay tuned.

Wow - using your 600 voters/division figure, the 175th has the strongest turnout, which is not surprising. But 24% is pathetic for the "strongest" turnout.

Again, my 600 voter number was a very low estimate. It could be somewhere between eight and nine hundred per division. I'll have to check on that in morning.

I think the total is around 8-900 for most divisions. But there are some Greens, Republicans, and independents in this city.

More updates, please. AP has the 175th tightening up, with Dicker ahead of Graboyes! In absolute votes, never mind votes per dollar raised.

The answer I got from the City Commissioners office is that a division could have anywhere from 200-300 to 600 as an upper bound. I didn't clarify but I'm assuming that means 600 registered Dems, not 600 total registered voters.
