July 24, 2006Pimped his websiteThough he still may be lagging far behind in the "pimped out ride" department, Michael Nutter has a snazzy new website (via America's Hometown). It even seems to have a blog or what passes for one on a campaign website (ie entries that are carefully crafted, always "on message" and have comments that are carefully selected from supporters and/or campaign workers). As always, your obscenity-free comments, pro or con, about any candidate are welcome here. Posted by Dan at July 24, 2006 06:32 PMComments
Nutter's website is okay but it is sort of lacking content - I mean what really can he brag about -- smoking and ethics? I guess that's a start but every tax bill he's put up has gone down and he can't seem to get any consensus on economic development. It seems like he's only been around the last few years of his 15 years on Council. He'll have some explaining to do about those lost council years... Posted by: Franklin at July 25, 2006 03:39 PMFranklin - didn't get a chance to actually read the website and see what Councilman Nutter has been doing all this time? Go check it out, read it, and then come back for a discussion. Do you work for another candidate or are you supporting one? Just curious. As you know, I don't work for Nutter, but I do hope he's our next Mayor. Posted by: Friedman at July 26, 2006 03:38 PMFriedman - you sound like a paid advertiser for Nutter. Do you walk around center city with a sandwhich board? Or did you respond to Nutter's online advertisement for a campaign manager? I know you "say" you don't work for Nutter, but it sounds like you are angling for a job... "Keeping an Open Mind" I've already mentioned my relationship with Nutter. I don't have to "angle" for a job with anybody, quite frankly...I am doing well where I am. But back to you or Franklin (maybe you're the same person)...are you able to reveal who you work for or who you support? I think that the anonymity that blogs provide can be great for substantive exchanges, but Franklin is just throwing grenades at a guy who has done a good job in Council. Do you guys have a better alternative for Mayor? Do you think that there's a smarter, better prepared candidate who has integrity? Talk about him or her. I'd be interested in that discussion.
