Just figured out how this game could be worse. You could be stuck in the office covering for a colleague who is playing hookey to be down here.
Red Sox pitcher Lopez ended the inning with a strikeout, but is getting yanked before the start of this frame. Red Sox manager Francona made the Phillies pinch hit Eric Bruntlett for Dobbs and countered by bringing in righthander Craig Hansen. It's a good move, up five runs.
So it's Hansen vs. Bruntlett to start the inning.
Bruntlett starts with an infield single and a steal of second. Ruiz walks and a wild pitch sends 'em both to second and third with no out. Pedro Feliz is up with the top of the order to follow. The fans are buzzing for the first time all day.
Feliz two-run single chases Craig Hansen. Francona is calling on Manny Del Carmen, a righthander who is no relation to Playa Del Carmen, a damn fine resort town in Mexico.
Victorino with another harmless popup and Utley flied out. Still two on, but now two out.
Utley's hit the ball hard a few times, but still hasn't had a hit since Friday. Ryan Howard up to try to salvage the inning.
Howard strikes out. J.C. Romero coming in to pitch for the Phils and Feliz will stay in.

wondering where all the trade Utley posts are...Ryan Howard would be getting killed if he was 0-for-20...
