No surprise as Rose goes No. 1

The Chicago Bulls surprised no one as they took Memphis freshman point guard Derrick Rose with the first pick in the draft. Rose's stock soared with his spectacular play in the Final Four. He is a native of Chicago and is the first guard picked at No. 1 since the Sixers took Allen Iverson in 1996. Rose has that rare blend of quickness, speed and strength. He'll be one of the best point guards in the league in a couple of years...he's that good.
