New eatery at the Marriott

The Convention Center Marriott has been changing up its dining offerings in the last couple of months.

Allie's American Grill was revamped into 13, a contemporary American, while the lobby lounge was rebranded as Circ.

Foodies won't be thrilled at this bit of news (though conventioneers might like it): I hear that the Market Street-side space that was Champions sports bar will be occupied by Au Bon Pain. One mighty huge Au Bon Pain, at that. The deal is 90 percent done. No timetable has been announced.
