There's something tragic going on. And I'm not talking about abuse of dogs.
This case of the Jena 6 has gotten scant attention in the mainstream media. But the case, which harkens back to Jim Crow justice of a half century ago, has set the blogosphere on fire.
You can be outraged all you want about the dirty deeds allegedly done by here to make your voice heard.
We're getting to the point where we care more about canines than humans. Society is truly going to the dogs.

I just found out about this case this week myself and I have been seeing a lot going around on Blogs and websites as of late as well as in the email circuit. It goes to show there are areas of the south that still have the backwards values of the pre-civil rights era. It's also amazing to me that there hasn't been much national attention about this case. You can find plenty though on You Tube if you type in "Jena six". There are several videos that can get you up to speed on what has transpired with this case.
There is also an online petition that can be signed urging the government to re-examine this case due to the racist undertones that have played out in the investigation and sentencing.
