Hear ye! Hear ye!
The Philadelphia Board of Ethics has issued a decree!
Okay, not really, but the ethics police do have a message for those people in the business of campaign fundraisers: Be careful. There may be no second chances.
"The purpose of the (Advisory) Alert is to inform hosts and sponsors of political fundraising events and persons who solicit contributions for city office candidates that their fundraising activities may disqualify them or their business from receiving certain city contracts or certain types of 'financial assistance' from the city."
Got that?
If you give too much money - and there are lots of ways of doing this - you might be out of city work.

But those of you who like to see your name splashed on many a fund-raising invitation, well, you've been warned.
