The Bag Battle -- it's on!

City Council members Frank DiCicco and Jim Kenney will introduce a bill on Thursday to ban non-biodegradable plastic bags, as detailed in today's Daily News. It didn't take the Bag People long to strike back, as "The Progressive Bag Alliance" --- yes, you guessed right, they're a group of plastic bag manufacturers -- issued a press release on the dangers of not using their product.
